Project Engineers are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets are met. They play a key role in project design, documentation, and technical support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans, manage timelines and budgets, and mitigate risks.
  • Design and Engineering: Define and validate technical specifications, and size and specify project components.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project records and provide regular status updates.
  • Technical Support: Support commissioning and start-up phases, and offer ongoing customer and team support.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of project management processes and tools.


Phases of Involvement

  • Commercial Phase: Assist Sales and Application Engineers with technical expertise.
  • Engineering Phase: Develop and finalize engineering documents.
  • Commissioning & Start-Up Phase: Provide technical support for smooth plant start-up.
  • Operation Support: Offer ongoing support to customers and internal teams.


Objectives

  • Ensure project designs enable competitive and high-performing plants.
  • Integrate reliable and cost-effective technologies and systems.
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities and Authority

  • Develop and validate technical specifications and performance requirements.
  • Produce and manage project documents.
  • Prepare start-up plans and provide commissioning support.
  • Train stakeholders (owners, plant managers, operators).
  • Plan and conduct required analysis during commissioning and operation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of control systems.
  • Monitor and report on plant performance.


Job Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Educational Competencies

  • Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or related fields).

Technical/Specialist Competencies

  • Proficiency in project management and process calculation tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies and processes.
  • Ability to develop technical documents using advanced IT tools.
  • Capability to plan and conduct chemical and biological analyses.
  • Proactive in managing potential process risks.
  • Excellent English skills; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

Additional Competencies

  • Knowledge in Anaerobic Digestion, Waste Treatment, and Wastewater Treatment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
