Job Overview:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Manager to lead our manufacturing engineering team at the Houston, TX facility. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Polymer Development, Molding, Design, and Machining Materials. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the manufacturing engineering team, providing direction and support on polymer development, molding, and machining projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Lead the design and development of new products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of new processes and products.
  • Monitor production metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Expertise in polymer development, molding, design, and machining materials.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
