Position Overview

The Engineering Leader will oversee all aspects of engineering projects related to Photovoltaic Design, CAD, Project Management, Construction, and Procurement Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of solar power generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, design, and construction of solar power generation facilities.
  • Ensure all engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project outcomes and reduce costs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and project delivery times.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Continuously assess and improve engineering design and construction practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
  • Develop project budgets and monitor project costs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and other technical professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Photovoltaic, CAD, Project Management, Construction, and Solar Design.
  • Experience in PV, Utility, PV Design, Procurement, EPC, Electrical Engineering, EIT, PE is a a huge plus.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering projects from conception to commissioning.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
