Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership as a discipline leader on multiple projects, working under the supervision of a Senior Mechanical Engineer and/or PE. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating as a critical member of a multi-disciplinary engineering and design team for a wide array of project types and sizes.
  • Performing HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing designs using Revit.
  • Management: Working under the guidance of a PE with project oversight, scheduling, task delegation, and mentorship.
  • Project Management: Participate in planning for scope, schedule, budget, discipline coordination for assigned projects.
  • Client Management: Responsible for project delivery, client satisfaction, and repeat business with assigned clients.
Requirements

To qualify for this role, the successful candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years' MEP/AEC design and consulting experience.
  • Experience with HVAC load calculations and duct sizing.
  • Working experience with documentation in Revit.
  • Ability to perform multiple functions in a fluid, multi-deadline environment.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Energy modeling (EnergyPlus and Trane Trace), LEED accreditation, EIT certification, or interest in obtaining these qualifications is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The posted annual salary range for this position is $68,000 to $102,000. We offer a highly competitive total compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, and long-term disability insurance.
