Electrical Engineering Leader for Power Systems

About the Role
">This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in electrical engineering, protection system design, and analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions that ensure the safe and reliable operation of our transmission and distribution facilities.

- Conduct short circuit and symmetrical component analysis to optimize system performance and safety.">
- Perform protection system coordination studies to prevent malfunctions and ensure seamless operation.">
- Design and implement relay settings and automation logic for complex electrical systems.">
- Analyze arc flash hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.">
- Integrate SCADA systems to enhance real-time monitoring and control capabilities.">
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects within budget and timelines.">
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.">
- A minimum of 5 years of directly applicable experience in electrical engineering, power system design, and analysis.">
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, electromagnetic fields, and power systems.">
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.">
- Familiarity with industry-standard software tools, such as Aspen-OneLiner and Doble-PowerBase.">
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe.">
Salary and Benefits
">We offer a competitive salary range of $100,700 - $118,400 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, retirement plans, paid time off, tuition assistance, and more. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15.00% of salary.
