Must-haves:

10+ years of experience in consumer and commercial banking

Day to Day: The Director of Compliance is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance program to mitigate regulatory risk. This role requires strategic leadership, deep industry knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to navigate a complex regulatory environment. Day-to-day activities include overseeing compliance operations, managing a compliance team, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining relationships with regulators. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the financial industry, specifically within banking and preferably cannabis banking, and possess a strong understanding of BSA/AML regulations.
