keeps professionals warm and comfortable on the jobsite. They want YOU to help continue th fat innovation.
The Apparel Technical Design Assistant will support the Apparel Technical Designer on design activities throughout the garment development process. Minimize bottleneck in the developmental workflow.
Increase overall team operational efficiency. This role will report to the Apparel Design Manager and will be part of a growing Gear/Workwear design team. In addition to the design team, you will work alongside of the larger development team, including the Materials Developer, Apparel Designers as well as many other roles in the company.
Responsibilities:
Assist in compiling tech packs: Enter data, comments, HTM sketches.
Evaluate samples to determine compliance of specs, construction and fit intent.
Prepare garments and participate in technical fittings: Measure/ prep patterns.
Sample/Trim management: deconstruction, augmenting, sorting.
Support materials testing: Requesting testing, coordinating testing materials, shipping.
What TOOLS you'll bring with you:
Design Student/ Recent Design graduate/ 1+ year of experience in the Apparel Industry.
Fluency using the Adobe CS suite of products preferred.
Experience in patternmaking /sewing is desired, but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop collaborative relationships.
Strong communications skills, willingness to be Candid
Have a sense of Speed and Urgency and have the Agility to respond to the ever-changing
landscape of product development.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20-$25/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
