Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is looking for a System Engineer to work for a DoD customer based out of Warren, MI. This team is responsible for developing autonomous software for their robotic combat vehicles. This individual will be developing/maturing high level product requirements, leading architecture changes for autonomous software, and running tests for ground robotic combat vehicles. This role will require a secret clearance and Insight Global will process the ideal candidate for an interim clearance


Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive and lead architecture changes for autonomous software for ground combat vehicles
  • Develop and mature high level product requirements, verification, and validation criteria with performance metrics
  • Develop test specifications to verify high level product requirements
  • Willingness to develop and run tests using software, simulations, and/or vehicle
  • Willingness to act as an integration and test engineer to collect data for ROS (robotic operating system) based autonomous ground vehicle systems


Compensation:

$90,000 to $130,000.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
