Automation Systems Engineer

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at our manufacturing plant in the steel industry. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing PLC programs and HMI interfaces for automated systems.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop PLC programs and HMI interfaces for automated systems.
- Conduct system analysis to identify and implement improvements and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems align with operational requirements and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and their components.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including system designs, specifications, and manuals.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring proper use of control systems.
- Participate in the commissioning of new systems and upgrades, ensuring smooth integration and minimal operational disruption.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in PLC programming, Control Systems Design, SCADA, HMI, and ladder logic.
- Strong understanding of automated manufacturing processes and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
