Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Back-End Android/Kotlin Developer to join our dynamic team. This full-time, salaried role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of next-generation SDKs, tools, and applications that process millions of transactions globally.


Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze, design, program, debug, and enhance complex software features or create new software products.

· Improve the performance of existing software solutions.

· Address and resolve challenging software issues using a broad range of technologies.

· Collaborate with project teams to produce functional software solutions.

· Lead and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

· Recommend and implement new technologies to boost productivity.

· Contribute to project planning and provide accurate estimates.

· Ensure the protection of proprietary and confidential information.

· Actively participate in team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and resolve issues.

· Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience with Android development.

· 3+ years of experience with Kotlin.

· Strong commitment to industry best practices, including source code control, architecture, coding structure, and testing.

· Proficiency in object-oriented programming.

· Experience with RESTful services and handling JSON or XML.

· Familiarity with Git.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.


Desired Skills and Experience:

· Experience with external device communication via USB, Bluetooth, or TCP/IP.

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Knowledge of Jetpack Compose.

· Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, and Roboelectric.

· Experience creating AARs and JARs.

· Interest in continuous integration and development processes.

· Understanding of data security, encryption, compliance, and data privacy laws.
