Job Overview

They are looking for a talented Android Software Engineer with a passion for UI/UX to join their dynamic team. In this role, you’ll help design and develop the next generation of mobile tools, SDKs, and applications that power millions of transactions worldwide. This full-time, salaried position is ideal for an engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and has a strong commitment to building innovative software solutions.


Key Responsibilities

· Design, program, and debug advanced software solutions and new product features.

· Enhance performance and reliability of existing applications.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues across a range of technologies.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

· Lead code reviews and participate in technical discussions.

· Recommend new technologies to improve productivity and scalability.

· Contribute to project planning, estimates, and timelines.

· Protect company proprietary and confidential information.

· Actively participate in team meetings, offering ideas and solutions.


Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of Android development experience.

· 3+ years of experience with Kotlin.

· 1+ year of experience with Jetpack Compose, threading, and coroutines.

· Strong background in object-oriented programming.

· Experience integrating with RESTful services and handling JSON/XML.

· Proficiency with Git for version control.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills

· Experience with external device communication via USB, Bluetooth, or TCP/IP.

· Familiarity with design tools such as Figma for wireframing and mockups.

· Knowledge of Google Design guidelines and ADA compliance.

· Agile/Scrum experience.

· Familiarity with testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, and Robolectric.

· Experience building AARs and JARs.

· Strong interest in continuous integration and development tooling.

· Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance standards.
