Job Title: Manufacturing Inventory Support Specialist

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Inventory Support Specialist is responsible for supporting non-BOM purchasing activities in support of HVM, Pilot, Safety, Training, and Engineering organizations, including administration responsibilities. This role collaborates with the leadership team to manage HVM inventory and purchasing activities within established budgetary targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all non-BOM purchasing activities for HVM, Pilot, Safety, Training, and Engineering organizations, including verification of ordering and receivables data.
  • Develop and report on inventory activity performance towards targets to the leadership team.
  • Ensure incoming materials are properly routed and monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments to meet scheduled commitments.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support specifically related to manufacturing and procurement department activities.
  • Maintain files, logs, records, and other related documentation pertaining to inventory of materials.
  • Maintain and assist with inventory management and control.
  • Management may, at its discretion, assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

Required Experience:

  • Two+ years’ manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to squat, kneel, walk, climb, stand, and reach outside neutral for over 25% of the time.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds.
  • Able to distinguish colors.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneDrive).
  • Experience in ERP and ordering platforms (SAP, Appian, QuickBase, and Ariba preferred).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak).
