What will your role be?

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining, installing, and optimizing signaling and electrical equipment utilized in rail and subway systems. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of field equipment while also providing technical support and exemplary service to our clients.


Activities:

  • Train public agency engineers and signal technicians on traffic signal equipment
  • Set up and configure video detection equipment and wireless radios
  • Identify and analyze equipment malfunctions using maintenance manuals, test equipment, wiring diagrams, schematics, and electronic devices
  • Troubleshoot trainset systems and provide technical inputs to the Maintenance Site organization
  • Record all maintenance activities in compliance with contractual requirements
  • Assist in identifying and analyzing malfunctions in operational equipment
  • Ensure the high-quality performance of electromechanical systems in rail and subway environments
  • Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks, producing timely and detailed service reports
  • Adhere to the company's field procedures and protocols at all times


What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience or understanding of electromechanical systems or electronics field.
  • Knowledge of Wayside Signaling systems and Railroad operations.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
