Our ever growing company is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to assist Loan Officers in managing all aspects of the customer pipeline; ensuring loan applications are completed and processed properly, managing realtor relationships, assisting with marketing efforts and other duties as assigned.


We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, well spoken, has excellent communication skills. Must have a mortgage license, 2-3 years of mortgage experience and have the ability to effectively handle simultaneous tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

Top Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the customer (borrower) and real estate agents at the start of the transaction
  • Enter customer data into CRM
  • Assist loan originators with preapprovals and loan structuring
  • Collect customer documentation necessary to complete the loan transaction, such as income documentation, asset statements and initial disclosures documents
  • Assist loan originators with loan pricing options/support and manage lock expiration dates
  • Update all parties with status of loan transaction as necessary
  • Order standard loan requirements and verifications such as, title, escrow, appraisal, verification of employments, verification of assets etc


Position Requirements:

  • Must have mortgage license
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines
  • Create urgency in a professional manner
  • Analyze tax returns and accurately calculate income for all types of borrowers
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and communication with customer, processor, and LO
  • Proficient with Encompass
  • Program knowledge on FHA, Conventional, VA, and DPA programs
  • Pre-Approval experience
  • Understand compliance regulations and investor guidelines
  • Understand commonly used terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures within the mortgage industry
  • Meet deadlines while working under pressure
  • Effectively handle simultaneous tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Work independently or as a member of a team
  • Able to work a flexible schedule that may include some evening and weekend hours


Compensation:

Salary plus commission – pay will vary based on experience
