About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance Analyst with a strong foundation in cloud-based data governance solutions to spearhead our migration from an on-premise EDC, Axon, and IDQ environment to an Informatica IDM platform with CDGC. This role demands a deep understanding of data governance principles, compliance, and regulations to ensure a seamless transition and establish robust data management practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough policy and standard reviews against industry requirements and standards.
  • Assess current data governance capabilities and controls using maturity models.
  • Design, develop, and implement a data marketplace aligned with established policies and standards.
  • Own the development and delivery of data quality products, document best practices, and promote data literacy across the organization.
  • Lead the collection of metadata, domain discovery, and profiling, adhering to industry best practices and fostering data literacy.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to support data-driven initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in data governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing data quality issues.
  • Strong background in designing, developing, and implementing metadata collection, domain discovery, and profiling initiatives.
  • Proficiency in capability maturity or business process management frameworks.
  • Agile project management experience.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to bridge business and technical concepts.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency with Informatica tools (Cloud Data Governance, Quality, or Marketplace).


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
