Key Responsibilities:

  • Sheet Metal Design: Develop innovative and efficient sheet metal designs for various projects, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • CAD Modeling: Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and drawings, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate conceptual designs into tangible products.
  • Product Development: Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to final production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
  • Problem-solving: Identify and resolve design challenges and technical issues through creative problem-solving and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by implementing best practices, optimizing design workflows, and staying updated on industry trends and advancements.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience in sheet metal design and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred, but not required with significant relevant experience.
