The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO to manage the daily operations of the executive office, providing strategic and administrative support. This role involves overseeing special projects, managing a small team, and ensuring that the CEO's directives are implemented efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities of the Chief of Staff to the CEO:
- Strategic Advisor: Provide strategic insights and guidance to the CEO to shape organizational priorities.
- Communication Liaison: Manage access to the CEO, ensuring efficient use of time, and facilitate clear and consistent communication internally and externally.
- Project Oversight and Coordination: Oversee key projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving and Decision Support: Assist in resolving complex issues and provide recommendations to support the CEO's decision-making process.
Executive Support:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and confidant to the CEO.
- Oversees the prioritization and management of the CEO's schedule.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the CEO’s office, ensuring efficient processes/ timely deliverables, including preparation for and follow up on all meetings.
- Manage three executive staff members who provide direct support to the CEO, ensuring they are effectively utilized, and their work aligns with the CEO's priorities.
- Develop and implement operational plans to support the company’s strategic objectives.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set strategic goals and monitor progress.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making.
Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project performance and provide updates to the CEO.
Managing Executive Staff:
- Assign tasks and projects to the executive staff based on the CEO’s priorities and the overall strategic goals of the company.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help team members grow and excel in their roles.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among the executive staff and the CEO.
- Identify opportunities for professional development and training for the executive staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior management or executive support role.
- Proven experience in project management and strategic planning.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Work Environment:
- This role is primarily office-based with occasional travel as required.

Salary: from $102,000.00 annually
