Job Overview:

As a Paralegal at this dynamic firm, you will support a team of experienced attorneys in complex intellectual property litigation. Your role will involve trial preparation, legal research, document drafting, and case management. This position offers a unique hybrid/remote work structure, providing the opportunity to engage in-person during key periods while also enjoying remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of intellectual property litigation, including trial preparation and court filings.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Manage case files and coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to ensure thorough preparation for trial.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement case strategies.
  • Maintain and organize case documents, ensuring compliance with court requirements and firm procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong trial experience, particularly in intellectual property litigation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
  • A proactive team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both in-person and remotely, as per the firm’s hybrid work schedule.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary in the range of $115k-$120k, with consideration for experience.
  • Year-end discretionary bonuses based on performance.

Work Schedule:

  • Spring, Summer, and Fall: 4 days onsite with Fridays remote.
  • Winter (Thanksgiving to St. Patrick’s Day): 2 days onsite, 3 days remote for support staff; fully remote for attorneys if desired.

Interview Process:

  • 1st Round: Virtual interview with a Partner.
  • 2nd Round: Virtual or onsite interview with another Partner.
  • 3rd Round: Virtual or onsite interview with the Managing Partner.
