  • Responsibilities:
  • Evaluates the feasibility and functionality of design changes to components and assemblies.
  • Designs and draws components and assemblies.
  • Writes test requisitions and verifies test results.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Interface regularly with company employees, team members and vendors
  • Independent decision making is required within generally established guidelines.


  • Mechanical Designer Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, including materials dimensional analysis, tolerances, and drafting.
  • 5+ years of mechanical drafting experience
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a CAD system such as Solid Works
  • Proficient in business system to find bills of material, costing, vendors, revisions, and other pertinent data.
  • Ability to design operational components and assemblies.
  • Ability to prepare accurate drawings that fulfill the Engineering Order (EO)
  • Ability to prepare relevant test requisitions and accurately validate test results in a timely manner.
