About the Role:

We’re seeking a talented Spanish-Speaking Social Media Strategist to create and oversee our Spanish-language social media feed. We are looking for someone who knows how to use short-form content strategy inside and out. Must have a keen sense of storytelling, messaging, and editing to help us connect authentically with our audience through creative strategies, precise content, and high-quality editorial standards.


Rate: 

  • On-Site Production: $25-$30/hr
  • Hybrid Video Editing: $125/Video


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and execute social media strategies for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others).
  • Write, edit, and produce short-form video posts in Spanish, ensuring tone, style, and brand consistency across channels.
  • Collaborate with our social media manager to oversee the content calendar and coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery of posts, campaigns, and collaborations.
  • Analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks) to continuously improve strategies and recommend actionable insights.
  • Engage with communities and monitor trends in Spanish-speaking markets to create culturally relevant content.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging social media trends and algorithms to maintain platform relevance.
  • Edit and proofread social media posts and captions to meet the highest editorial standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • 2+ years of experience in social media strategy, community management, or digital marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience in short-form content creation for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Strong proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere is required, with a proven track record of creating high-quality video content.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multi-platform social campaigns (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook).
  • Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and their application in social media captions.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Strong project management and time-management abilities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of video editing and visual storytelling.
