Main Function:
Execute purchasing and planning activities within the assigned category, ensuring timely delivery of goods. Take responsibility for planning requirements and supply chain management, coordinating all operational activities related to procurement of products, materials, and/or services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or equivalent.
- 8+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficient in English.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently.
- Knowledgeable in procurement strategy, supplier sourcing, and supply chain management.
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on processes.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of effective collaboration with other departments and suppliers.
- Well-organized with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in quantitative and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase orders, RFx processes, and ensure timely issuance and accuracy of POs.
- Assist Procurement Manager in placing and maintaining purchase orders associated with the GRAPHICS category.
- Ensure consigned materials at Contract Manufacturers (CMs) match required assemblies and are issued to internal jobs.
- Oversee inventory receipts of consigned materials and finished goods.
- Collaborate with Finance's Inventory Control department to reconcile inventory at contract manufacturers.
- Coordinate with the RMA department to facilitate the RMA process for GPUs and/or Memory to Nvidia.
- Process drop shipment purchase orders for intercompany sales orders for the Graphics category.
- Handle purchase order modification requests and communicate internally as necessary.
- Execute MRP, review forecasts, and analyze inventory liability and on-time delivery.
- Resolve receiving/quality issues through root cause investigation and communicate internally and with suppliers.
- Assist in implementing supply chain initiatives.
- Support Quarterly Business Reviews through data collection, analysis, and presentation preparation.
- Generate category reporting as required, including open backlog, spend analysis, GPU reports, etc.
- Maintain procurement-related part and supplier information in the company's ERP system.
- Assist in other areas/categories as assigned.
