JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Head of E-Commerce will be responsible for developing and executing Cardin McCoy’s e-commerce strategy, overseeing all aspects of the online shopping experience, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a highly analytical, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing, and customer behavior. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing e-commerce platforms and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.


RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Strategic Leadership:

  • E-Commerce Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with Cardin McCoy’s overall business objectives.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through innovative online sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
  • Customer Experience: Enhance the customer journey by improving site functionality, navigation, and overall user experience.


Operations Management:

  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, including product listings, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance metrics such as conversion rates, traffic, and sales, and implement strategies to optimize performance.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with e-commerce service providers, including payment gateways, logistics partners, and digital marketing agencies.


Marketing and Sales:

  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing.
  • Promotions and Discounts: Plan and implement promotional activities and discount strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the e-commerce space.


Team Leadership:

  • Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team, providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product development, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless integration of e-commerce initiatives.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools to gain insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and website performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on e-commerce performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.


QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of the Shopify e-commerce platform, digital marketing, and customer experience optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in the fashion or apparel industry is a plus.
