Reporting to and in partnership with the EVP of Real Estate, the Senior Project Manager/Project Manager (title based on experience) will spearhead construction efforts as the Company continues to grow. Your primary duties shall be set forth by the Company and shall include, without limitation, overseeing design and construction of new assets and ongoing maintenance of operational assets.
As Senior Project Manager/Project Manager you will contribute to all aspects of the development process and the projects that you will work on range in size, complexity, geography, and asset class. Core responsibilities include managing third-party vendor engagement, managing construction budgets and processes, leading project performance reporting, producing internal approval documentation, and leading the design, engineering, and construction processes.
Job description
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Experience working on railroad properties and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing new digital billboard installations within the approved budget, timeline, and scope. The candidate will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and team members.
- A professional who leads and oversees all construction projects and works with engineers, architects, electricians, manufacturers, installers, etc. to develop a plan, create a project time frame, distribute resources, and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborates with internal and external resources in planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and providing timely completion of the projects, ensuring that the project is completed within the set budget and is within the scope.
- Develop and monitor the project budget, schedule, and overall productivity.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with consultants, subcontractors, landlord partners, and government partners.
- Manage compliance of contractual responsibilities.
- Manage all contracts and change order costs, including negotiating, processing, and assessing impacts to the overall project.
- Manage all documentation such as PEng reports, shop drawings, and internal / external partner documentation.
- Provide regular performance status reports regarding cost forecasts, schedule, and safety.
Qualifications
- Project Management or equivalent experience on construction projects
- Engineering background is a bonus (Civil / Structural)
- Experience working in the Out of Home Advertising Industry (preferred)
- Experience working with Rail Companies and other governmental agencies (preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience or billboard construction project management experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
