Job Overview:


As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of commercial construction projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of project planning, coordination, and implementation, ensuring that our projects meet quality, safety, schedule, and budgetary goals. Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and managing all phases of commercial construction projects.
  • Help prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Track project costs, process change orders, and help maintain financial health of the project.
  • Support the day-to-day management of job sites, ensuring safety standards and regulations are strictly followed.
  • Assist in resolving issues that may arise during construction to keep projects on track.
  • Participate in site meetings, inspections, and the preparation of project documentation.
  • Collaborate with the design and preconstruction teams to ensure project scope and expectations are met.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the job site.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • 2+ years of experience in construction, with exposure to commercial projects such as Senior Living, Multi-Family, or Healthcare.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and with multiple stakeholders.
