Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Representative at Fluid Service Technologies. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, prospecting, and closing sales deals. This role will involve conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with customers. While the role is primarily based in Houston, TX, some remote work is acceptable.


Qualifications

  • Sales, Marketing, and Negotiation skills
  • Experience in lead generation and prospecting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of industrial fluids or related industry experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Find prospects and leads to solicit FST products and services.
  • Cold calling on prospective and/or existing clients within an assigned region.
  • Understand current and prospective customer’s needs, business issues, and purchasing
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
  • Perform direct sales contact and sales development work through all levels of a customer or prospect organization.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the regional customer base and prepare action plans to convert sales prospects into new accounts.
  • Participate in local marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.


Pay:

  • Base Salary + Commission

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; business or communications degree preferred.
  • Industry-related sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
