HR Soul is currently partnering with a client in the prepared foods industry. This role does require this person be at their location in Winter Park, Florida and the schedule is typically a Sunday - Thursday. The schedule is subject to change some. The compensation for this role is between $50-55k in salary, with additional commission opportunities. The ideal candidate will have some retail sales experience, preferably in the food wellness or food industry space.

Founded in 2011, they oversees 12 retail locations and an eco-friendly concierge home delivery subscription business. Our client empowers their customers to be their best by offering the best in prepared meals, and wellness coaching.

Store Manager Responsibilities:


Community Engagement:

  • Foster meaningful relationships both within the store and in the broader community to drive sales.
  • Organize and lead community-focused activities both inside the store and in the local area to connect with potential customers, influencers, community businesses, and industry trainers.


Store Operations & Management:

  • Infuse energy into creating a vibrant, positive atmosphere where team members are excited to work and customers are eager to shop. Build meaningful connections with customers on the shop floor and at events, delivering informative interactions and promoting a customer-first hospitality culture.
  • Take ownership of store operations, paying meticulous attention to detail to maintain an “opening day” look and feel across all store environments and touchpoints.


Team Leadership:

  • Coach and empower your team to continually create relationship and sales building behaviors with customers, including active listening, answering questions, and being knowledgeable about company products and services.
  • Ensure you have the "right people in the right roles" by consistently recruiting, coaching, hiring, and developing a team of 5-7 individuals in your store.


Financial Management:

  • Oversee store financials by analyzing monthly Profit & Loss statements and making strategic decisions to achieve targets.
  • Utilize weekly and periodic sales data to manage performance, drive results, and meet sales goals and additional KPIs.


Market Management:

  • Act as a liaison with Retail Leadership to identify and resolve issues while enhancing communication.
  • Develop innovative processes to address challenges in meeting sales targets and driving growth.
  • Foster a positive and productive relationship with team members.


Experience/Education Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, fitness, hospitality, or dining management, with a focus on profit and loss management and team leadership. Experience in multi-level or multi-location management is preferred.
  • Exhibit high energy, confidence, and a proactive attitude in approaching new customers and establishing relationships.
  • Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and strong communication skills, coupled with a willingness to tackle problems with infectious optimism..
  • Self-driven and competitive, with a passion for growing the business and a desire to be rewarded for achieving sales goals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A responsible, dependable, and proactive team player with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Dependability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours to accommodate the needs of the business.
