Job Description:


As a Customer Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our subscription-based mobile application. You will lead the charge in launching our ad strategy, driving user acquisition, and building a robust database of potential customers. This role is critical in scaling our user base from 0 to 10,000 and beyond, as we strive to become a market leader.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive advertising strategy for our subscription-based mobile application, focusing on family and children audiences.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
  • Utilize advanced targeting and segmentation strategies to identify and reach high-value user segments across paid advertising channels, including social media, search, display, and mobile app install campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and analytics, to optimize user acquisition funnels, onboarding experiences, and subscription conversion rates.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Lead the development of customer acquisition initiatives and experiments to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our acquisition strategy.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ recent years of experience in digital marketing, user acquisition, and growth hacking, with a proven track record of driving significant user growth and revenue in the mobile app industry.
  • Expertise in subscription-based customer acquisition strategies and tactics, with a deep understanding of subscription models and lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Customer Data Platforms (CDP’s), Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, App Store Connect and other similar technologies & platforms.
  • Experience managing large-scale paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, YouTube and Mobile ad networks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for technology, digital innovation, and creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Experience working with family or children-focused mobile apps and subscription models is highly desirable.
  • Experience with the Apple App Store, iOS specific application and users is highly desirable.


In your first 100 days at Wendy, you will:


  • Gain a deep understanding of our subscription-based mobile application, target audience, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to finalize and execute the Go-To-Market strategy, including defining key objectives, target audiences, and channel strategies.
  • Launch and optimize initial digital marketing campaigns to drive alpha testing participation and build momentum for our official launch.
  • Build and refine user acquisition funnels, onboarding experiences, and subscription conversion flows based on user feedback and analytics insights.
  • Establish regular reporting cadence and dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor campaign performance.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and growth through A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Begin building relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers to expand our reach and drive user acquisition.
