Technical Client Manager

The Technical Client Manager will work with new clients to ensure action items, schedules, and decisions are documented and communicated. This person will be instrumental in problem solving and performing analysis on large datasets. This person will interact with the VPs and directors to get commitments on delivery for the client and act as a client advocate internally to ensure that deadlines are met.
This is a new position within the team to offload the VP of Operations and aid in scaling out the operations team. This will vary from client interaction, to creating and sending deliverables to clients, and working on internal initiatives for new services and clients.
Please note this is not a hybrid or remote job. While there is opportunity in the future to work remotely for limited periods of time, this role requires integration into a team working in our office in Alpharetta, Georgia. Please make sure you are comfortable with a commute to/from Alpharetta.
This is an important role for key clients in a quickly growing consulting firm. The right person will have great growth potential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide status updates to key stakeholders
- Perform analysis on large datasets
- Resolve problems by clarifying issues; research and explore answers; implement solutions; escalate more challenging or unresolved problems
- Manage monthly project tracking of projects

Required Qualifications
1. Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint and other software and web-based applications.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work product is expected
- Structured Query Language (SQL)) experience is a major plus. Training to augment current skill level will be offered.
- Microsoft SQL Server Transact SQL (TSQL) a plus.
2. Education (minimum/preferred) and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, sustainability or other analytical disciplines preferred
- Energy related experience a plus, but not required.
- Recent graduates will be considered; experience in a corporate environment a plus.
