  • Oversee and manage site cost center Profit and Loss. Responsible to Director of Plant Operations and COO for maintaining, forecasting, and discrepancy reporting
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of Plant Operators engaged in operating, producing, and delivering hydrogen
  • Coordinates with Fleet Business Unit (FBU) Director in transportation and scheduling of the delivery of hydrogen to customers.
  • Operate and safely maintain plant operations while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and company policies, procedures, regulations and laws
  • Conduct periodic checks of plant for safe and efficient operation
  • Hire and manage all facility plant operators, responsible for training and development of the operators to ensure company requirements and best practices
  • Analyze production schedules and estimates man-hour requirements for completion of job assignment
  • Enforces safety regulations
  • Ensure all injuries and accidents are properly investigated and reported within 24 hours
  • Approve overtime of Operators when essential
  • Monitors operational metrics to ensure production schedules, output standards, and targets are met
  • Work closely with maintenance and reliability to develop schedule and cost for preventive maintenance and break in work for all plant equipment
  • Work closely with engineering resources to optimize and troubleshoot any plant issues, as well as develop and sustaining capital needs



Qualifications:

BS in engineering or other relevant technical disciplines preferred or equivalent direct experience

Excellent leadership skills

Excitement, energy, and enthusiasm to join a fast-moving start-up as an entrepreneur

Willingness to travel (expected 15% or less)

Ethical Leader: Hands-on, Driven, Humble, Detail-oriented, Resilient, Selfless, Team-player

Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

Veterans strongly encouraged to apply

Hydrogen / Industrial Gas / Fuel Cell / Utility / Energy / Energy Storage experience a plus
