We are proudly aligned with a highly regarded medical association to help them find a Meetings and Credentialing Manager to oversee and organize events as well as manage certifications and verifications for their members.


Our client seeks an individual who understands marketing and promotion techniques for events, but is also comfortable with detail-oriented operations tasks. This person will be a strong project manager who is enthusiastic and brings a combination of fresh ideas and organizational skills. This will be an excellent opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the company while also increasing efficiencies.


Job Location: Hybrid 1-2 days/week in Buffalo Grove, Illinois

What you’ll be doing:

Meetings/Events

  • Coordinating virtual, onsite, examination, committee, and expo events
  • Preparing presentations
  • Coordinating and managing the booth and events at the annual meeting
  • Coordinating the logistics for travel, catering, materials, gifts, and booth set up
  • Communicating with vendors, venues, and meeting spaces for upcoming events
  • Researching new vendors and venues for future meetings

Credentialing

  • Communicating with members on upcoming recertification deadlines
  • Maintaining members’ certification files, verification companies, and completed verifications
  • Processing and responding to all verification completions and requests

Administrative

  • Supporting the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer with various administrative tasks
  • Updating doctor profiles with images and bios


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, or related field
  • 3+ years meetings/events management experience
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Project Management experience
  • Vendor and contract negotiation skills
  • Web and social media skills
