Senior Sales Manager

Proper Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to assist in oversight of driving group sales for two luxury hotels within our portfolio. Our ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing strategic partnerships and increasing revenue across both properties. This role will also involve assisting in driving sales for events, ensuring our hotels remain the preferred choice for luxury accommodations and bespoke events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive group sales for both luxury hotels
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key corporate, leisure and event clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that attract group bookings
  • Conduct sales presentations, site inspections and client meetings to showcase hotel features and amenities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure group bookings and events
  • Assist in driving sales for events, including corporate meetings, weddings and social gatherings
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry developments to identify new business opportunities
  • Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and maximize revenue
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales activities, results, and forecasts for senior management
  • Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote and build brand awareness


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, preferably within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the luxury market and high-end clientele
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
