The Power BI Administrator will be responsible for configuring, monitoring and ensuring that the system is running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of the Power BI platform and experience with Power BI Desktop.

They will also provide support and maintenance of hardware / software, platform, customer proprietary, applications area on Windows Server software applications outside of the Power BI space. Identifies and performs a variety of independent analysis and problem resolution assignments. Defines approaches and provides extensive business and/or technical expertise to attain objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Power BI
  • Configure and manage Power BI settings and resources.
  • SQL and PowerShell experience is a must have and be intermediate level.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that the system is running smoothly.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to Power BI administration.
  • Maintain customer applications in a Windows Server environment.
  • Need to have experience from midsize to large corporation (enterprise level business applications)
  • Expert in Power BI administration (not reporting) with mostly on-premise.


Requirements:

  • Experience in Power BI administration.
  • 3+ years of professional service delivery experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors/four-year college degree.
  • Understanding/awareness of ITIL principals.
