Summary of Role:

Seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our client organization as the Vice President of Engineering and Technology Operations, reporting to the CIO. In this role, you will influence internal stakeholders, lead a team of technical talent, and foster a collaborative and innovative community. Your ability to inspire, influence, and drive change will be key to achieving our ambitious goals and solidifying our position as an industry leader.

Essential Responsibilities:

Technology Transformation

  • Lead the development and implementation of transformative technology solutions, including cloud migration, data centre modernization, and digital infrastructure enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully execute technology initiatives, driving business value and operational efficiency on a global scale.
  • Monitor and measure the success of technology projects, demonstrating tangible ROI and value to stakeholders.

​Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering and IT operations strategy aligned with Organizations business objectives.
  • Lead global technology transformation projects, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the engineering and IT teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day engineering and IT operations, ensuring systems and process efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement best practices for operational performance, including process optimization, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational capabilities and competitive advantage.

Leadership and Communication:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and integrity
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure data is leveraged for strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, leveraging their expertise to enhance operational capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering and global IT operations, with a focus on technology transformation projects
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and executing large-scale technology and change initiatives.
  • Experience with operational technology, including hardware, software, and monitoring systems that run manufacturing systems.
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering and IT operations, including cloud technologies, data centers, digital infrastructure, and security.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and translate complex data into actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing
  • Experience with IT operations in industrial manufacturing industries
  • Passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of technology-driven operations.
  • Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire and align teams toward common goals.
