Site Quality Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a Site Quality Manager to oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance at our manufacturing site. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining regulatory compliance, implementing quality management systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EPA).
  • Lead and manage the site’s quality team to achieve operational objectives and quality goals.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze data and metrics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, manage audits and inspections, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and KPIs to senior management, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and action plans.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in quality management within the chemical manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of chemical processes and quality control systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, OSHA, REACH).
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing quality team.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
