Pay Rate: $24 to $27 per hour DOE


About the Role:

As an Order Management Specialist, you will be playing a crucial role in managing Purchase Orders (POs) from inception to delivery. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to track, revise, and ensure the accurate fulfillment of orders across our business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Run weekly and monthly reports to support the Purchasing team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all POs.
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders for a specific business category.
  • Build and maintain credibility and responsiveness by promptly returning calls and following up on issues within 24 hours.
  • Manage overdue POs and coordinate supplier follow-up.
  • Follow up on shipping and receiving statuses with suppliers and warehouses.
  • Monitor order fulfillment and shipment tracking, providing updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update PO details, including ship dates, quantities, costs, and descriptions as changes occur.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in data entry and familiarity with SAP systems is preferred.
  • Data entry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Keen to details and highly organized
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, willing to learn and shows positive attitude towards change.
  • Proven team player, self-motivated, independent thinker.
