KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive Shipments: Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Check for damage or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
  • Prepare Shipments: Pack and label products according to company standards and shipping requirements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipments.
  • Inventory Management: Update inventory records and systems with received and shipped goods.  Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Documentation: Complete shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Properly store products and manage space within the warehouse.
  • Equipment Operation: Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to move products safely.
  • Communication: Coordinate with other departments to resolve shipping and receiving issues.  Communicate effectively and team members and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in shipping and receiving or related warehouse role preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided if necessary).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and processing shipments. Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items up 50-75 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

The successful candidate must be authorized to work in the US, able to pass criminal background check, drug/alcohol screen, physical assessments, audio, and color vision test. Must be willing to work OT as needed. HS Diploma or equivalent.
