Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Performs complex tasks and takes ownership of delivering specific business processes/programs.
  • Supports business managers in all business-relevant administration tasks, such as conducting research, compiling, verifying the information, and creating special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, and other relevant documents.
  • Responsible for different communication tasks within their own area of responsibility, ensuring sharing of knowledge and information to keep others informed and up to date.
  • Implements ABB processes and initiates continuous improvement of administration processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Acts as the point of contact for internal/external inquiries via phone and email, assesses the urgency of issues, and initiates appropriate action.
  • Arranges business-critical internal/external events, including arranging travel, developing itineraries, booking accommodation, registering for conferences, and coordinating with visiting speakers, among other tasks.
  • Provides financial support at a business level, which includes monitoring budget spend, raising and approving requisitions/invoices, and other related tasks.

EXPERIENCE & JOB SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proved experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations and policy enforcement.
