Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead large-scale projects, particularly focusing on historic building renovations and other significant construction assignments. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in multifamily construction and project management, with a proven ability to manage teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, and deliver projects on time and within budget. The Project Manager will report directly to the Owner and CEO of Parklane Management Company.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Coordination:

  - Lead the planning, execution, and finalization of construction projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

  - Develop detailed project plans and timelines for renovations and construction efforts, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.


Team Management:

  - Supervise and allocate tasks to team members, subcontractors, and third-party vendors, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives.

  - Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to encourage professional development.


Budget Management:

  - Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and timelines.

  - Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.


Stakeholder Communication:

  - Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including property owners, tenants, city officials, and vendors.

  - Facilitate regular updates and reports to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, challenges, and changes.


Regulatory Compliance: 

  - Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, especially pertaining to historic preservation and building codes.

  - Coordinate required inspections and obtain necessary permits.


Problem-Solving:

  - Proactively identify potential issues and address them through effective problem-solving and crisis management techniques.


Quality Assurance:

  - Monitor and assess work progress to ensure that it aligns with project specifications, quality standards, and established deadlines.

  

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in multifamily construction and project management.

- Proven track record of successfully managing large projects from inception to completion, with an emphasis on timelines and budgets.

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and collaborating with various stakeholders.

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

- Knowledge of local building codes, and safety regulations.
