IT Project Management Director

As a key member of the Enterprise Infrastructure and Security Project Management team, you will be responsible for building out, running, and leading the project management personnel and capabilities for the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of technical program and project managers in the delivery of the Global Security project portfolio
  • Aligning with key customers to assess organizational project management needs
  • Partnering with other customers to optimize the PMO framework and implement consistent processes, training, and reporting
  • Establishing project management objectives, assisting with aligning roles and responsibilities, and providing line of sight to project delivery and program execution
  • Managing the assignment of work and monitoring projects from inception through delivery
  • Developing metrics and reporting to measure team and PMO delivery
  • Partnering with leaders across global security and other IT functions on the delivery of projects according to schedule, cost, and scope of work
  • Building team capability and capacity through training, hiring, and leadership
  • Supporting, coaching, and guiding team members in adherence to best-practice principles of project management
  • Working with the project managers and key customers on escalations and to resolve issues
  • Supporting the project intake process
  • Developing demand forecast and resource planning capabilities and working across global security teams to plan and prioritize project activities
  • Questioning the status quo and finding opportunities for continuous improvement to increase project delivery timelines and efficiency

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Management, or equivalent work experience
  • Senior-level experience leading large-scale project and program delivery in a technical environment
  • Background in process improvement and organizational change management
  • Outstanding influence skills to effectively drive program/project efforts
  • Ability to quickly put structure in place and drive adoption
  • 5+ years in program/project management
  • PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma or other industry recognized certifications preferred
