Position Overview: The VP, Human Resources will play a pivotal role in the operational and administrative management of Human Resources and Office Administration. With at least 10 years of HR experience, the ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of HR best practices, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to enhancing organizational effectiveness. This role requires a hands on, adaptable leader who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive initiatives that support the company’s continued success.


Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management:

  • HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and support overall business objectives. Manage a team of two providing HR and Payroll Support.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruitment and hiring processes to attract, retain, and develop top talent. Ensure effective onboarding and integration of new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and promoting open communication.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance management systems, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback processes. Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation structures, benefits programs, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

Office Administration:

  • Operational Oversight: Ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day office activities, including facilities management, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Administrative Leadership: Supervise administrative staff and streamline office processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure the office environment complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Planning & Support:

  • Communication: Act as a liaison between executives and employees, ensuring effective communication and alignment on key initiatives and company goals.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present reports on HR metrics, office operations, and other key performance indicators to the executive team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a track record of success in HR management and leadership roles.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Skills: Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements. Experience in financial services or a similar industry is preferred.
  • Attributes: Proactive, strategic thinker with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Compensation:

Target compensation of $190-220k base salary plus bonus
