The Talent Management Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing organization performance management and talent development strategies. The incumbent for this position will assess the overall organization performance effectiveness including leadership, manager quality, employee engagement, retention and productivity; and design the supporting organization processes, training and development programs to improve and strengthen focus areas. The manager will design and implement the programs and processes for succession planning, performance management, and key talent development.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Enhances organizational capability and efficacy by creating and implementing talent strategies and programs focusing on succession planning, career paths, leadership development, training, and engagement
  • Work with JM leadership to identify and provide highly effective training and development programs that align with business strategies and promote diversity and inclusion; including developing and delivering programs in-house, engaging third party training firms and partnering with universities / vocational schools
  • Lead training program oversight, including vendor, system, and personnel management, aimed at enhancing leader effectiveness, employee engagement, and career advancement
  • Oversee the implementation and management of JM’s Diversity & Inclusion framework and programming
  • Enhance current succession planning and performance management processes and drive them throughout the company
  • Assist in the development of JM’s learning strategy and defining the steps for achievement. Drive a culture of learning and leverage Workday Learning to curate learning content for JM employees
  • Measure organization effectiveness through stay and exit interviews, focus groups, engagement surveys and workforce data analytics
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to enhance our internal mobility strategy, including but not limited to developing and delivering career pathing programs and internal opportunity marketing
  • Drive innovation in organization performance management, development and training tools
  • Design methods for measuring quality and effectiveness of the strategy, programs and tools. Use measurements to drive continuous improvement.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.


What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Solid knowledge of organizational and leadership development practices
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Workday Learning preferred
  • Ability to have a customer focused perspective
  • Proven success initiating change
  • Strong influencing and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well with all key business functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Moderate travel required (11 – 29 days per year)
  • Manages a staff of 1 salaried employee
  • Work environment is typical of an office setting.
