Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Linux System Administrator with Telecom experience in Plano, TX. We are seeking a Linux System Administrator to work with a team of engineers to deploy, support, and manage applications for our core, mobile, and web-based products.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years experience working as a Unix/Linux system administrator
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of server security and system reliability
  • Bash, MySQL & Python scripting
  • Network design and implementation (Installation & configuration of servers/server components, switches, network devices and cabling)
  • Auditing, system hardening & compliance testing
  • Cloud computing and virtualization
  • Experience with the SIP telecom protocol
