Must be local to one of the following office locations:

Lynbrook NY, Manhattan NY, or Delray Beach FL

  • This role will require to report into the office 3x days per week
  • Must have flexibility to work after hours and weekends


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design effective ads for various digital marketing formats, such as onsite banners, offsite ads, landing pages, product pages, emails, social media, print, and any other creative assets needed for campaigns, marketing, and/or internal branding materials, using InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop to edit photos with proficiency in retouching, compositing, aspect ratio, layer mask, color correction, lighting, and clone stamp techniques.
  • Enhance the customer experience through innovative design solutions.
  • Create vector graphics, edit paths and shapes, incorporate text and images, and design complex graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Develop comprehensive guidelines, including brand guidelines, holiday visual style guides, and concept mood boards and executive presentations utilizing various marketing tools.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and supplier teams to ensure the alignment of design efforts with overall business objectives and strategies.
  • Deliver under retail execution timelines that may require working outside normal business hours. High-flexibility and results driven.
  • Manage the updates of design modules and templates, utilizing elements in Adobe Photoshop including smart objects, layers masks, libraries, swatches, and guides.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and other creatives to produce high-quality content.
  • Ensure all creative materials align with the brand identity and goals.
  • Design and oversee the creation of packaging for new and existing products.
  • Ensure packaging is both visually appealing and functional, meeting industry standards.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity across all channels.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Work with external vendors, including printers and production companies, to produce marketing materials.


What are we looking for?:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing emphasis in Graphic/Digital Design or related field experience.
  • 3+ years of proven industry experience in graphic design in scope within the retail e-commerce field and a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in typography, color theory, visual communication, branding, and UI/UX design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Bridge, and InDesign.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for pets and understanding of pet industry trends and consumer behavior is a plus.
  • Customer-centric and growth mindset.
  • High sense of urgency with a deep desire to make a difference and strive for excellence
  • Passionate about pets, pet families, and the pet industry, with a deep understanding of pet families’ needs and preferences.
  • Resourceful, results-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
