The Choice, Inc. is managing a temporary to hire opportunity for our client- a major professional association in Tyson’s Corner.


This organization offers academy learning programs to train new professionals in the industry. The program includes either six one-week classroom sessions or six month-long live online sessions, once or twice a week, over the course of a year. The goal of the program is for graduates to have the necessary skills to operate and oversee business operations within the automotive sales industry.


The ideal candidate will have/is:

  • 3-4 years of administrative and customer service experience
  • Availability to work in office 4- days a week (Monday-Thursday)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Previous association or membership support experience a plus, but not required


The role will start on a contract basis (approximately 6 months), but the intent is for it to be temporary to hire if it is a good fit.


This position will support student and classroom needs. Job duties will include:

  • Handle course registrations; serve as contact for all prospective and current students
  • Verifying and inputting data for assigned classes
  • Communicating pre-course requirements to students, sponsors and other representatives
  • Managing participants in the LMS web-based environment for students, sponsors, instructors, and staff use
  • Collecting and compiling critical electronic financial statement participant information
  • Liaise with internal staff for database, LMS, and other technical support issues
  • Assisting with general correspondence for enrollees and sponsors
  • Assisting students during class sessions with face-to-face and/or online support
  • Providing ongoing telephone and email support
  • Supporting recruitment of students and lead generation efforts
  • Responding to information requests for all training programs
  • Producing and maintaining all administrative documents for assigned class sessions
  • Assisting management with invoicing and receipts
  • Copying and distributing training materials that support program goals
  • Providing administrative assistance to instructors as requested
  • Ensuring documentation is kept current
  • Managing department office supplies
  • Other job related duties as assigned


Required Schedule:


This position is 37.5 hours a week. On Mondays- hours may require starting as early at 7AM, but the schedule will then be 7AM-3PM or 7:15-3:15PM. The team rotates these early Monday hours. Otherwise, regular work hours will be 8:30AM-4:45PM.


Mondays-Thursdays are required in office days. Fridays can be remote days, unless there are student events (graduations, etc), where Friday in office work may be required.
