Client Overview

Our client is a well-established General Contractor recognized across the nation, aiming to expand their operations in Virginia. Their portfolio encompasses three distinct divisions: foundational construction, interior fit-outs, and concrete services. They are currently seeking a Project Management Assistant to support their foundational construction team, which will involve engaging with significant projects in sectors such as warehouses, data centers, and core and shell developments.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Management Assistant will be tasked with:

  • coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • ensuring precise project documentation
  • tracking project milestones and progress
  • participating in project meetings
  • managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • reporting directly to a Project Manager

Candidate Profile

The ideal Project Management Assistant will possess:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • preferably experience in foundational construction, though other commercial backgrounds will be considered
  • a degree in a construction-related discipline
  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • strong organizational and time management abilities
