One of our clients has opened up a Senior Project Manager position to lead their Low Voltage team in the Miami - Fort Lauderdale area, Florida. You will have an initial project portfolio of over $5M.

The Role


As the Senior Project Manager, you can expect responsibilities in the following areas:


Project Planning and Design:

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.


Budget and Cost Management:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Approve and monitor expenses, ensuring costs are kept within budget.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure the best terms.


Resource Management:

  • Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of project staff and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.


Project Execution and Monitoring:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of low voltage projects, ensuring adherence to plans and schedules.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets specified standards and client expectations.


Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Address any issues or changes promptly to minimize impact on the project.


Client and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review progress and resolve issues.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive problem-solving and responsiveness.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, plans, permits, and reports.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
  • Ensure all project close-out documentation is complete and handed over to the client upon project completion.


Technical Expertise and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in low voltage systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.


Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance and quality.
  • Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively.


Post-Project Evaluation:

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather feedback from clients and stakeholders to inform future projects.
  • Implement lessons learned into future project planning and execution.




What Can Our Client Offer You?


  • A base salary between $90K to $105K, however this is to be used as a guideline. Our client is aware of the market value for the desired skillset, and will compensate accordingly.

What Can You Bring To The Team?


  • 15+ Years of Low Voltage experience
  • Specializing in Structured Cabling, Electronic Security, & A/V Systems
  • 5+ Years of Project Management preferred
  • Previous experience handling a 7 figure project portfolio
  • Sports, Government, Healthcare and Higher Education project experience is preferred, to allow you a smoother transition into their line of work
