Junior Account Director Objectives:


The Junior Account Executive partners with Media Buyers and Account Directors to manage short form direct response television campaigns by serving as a liaison between clients, senior management, vendors, and production companies to ensure campaign success. The successful candidate should possess good client contact skills including, but not limited to, conducting minor presentations, trouble-shooting problems and thinking on their feet. The role’s primary responsibility will be to support the Account Director Team on projects and will also include regular interaction with clients.

Duties

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day execution of client deliverables and support the development of strategy. Track weekly budget goals to ensure client’s KPIs are met. Maintain client project timelines. Assist with on-boarding new clients.
  • Initiate projects resulting from media plan, client business needs and competitive research.
  • Assist with media research and outreach, presentations, and project coordination; build media lists and databases; and compile client reports.
  • Contribute to weekly team meetings for self’s campaigns.
  • Work with Media Buyers to cancel, add, rebook or title change media where needed.
  • Analyze results daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  • Synthesize data, industry information and competitive landscape to identify trends and determine the appropriate marketing strategy for each campaign.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of customer data feeds, managed databases, and CRM solutions.
  • Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business.

Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Infomercial Media Buying and or Client Services
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Technical competence (understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.)
  • Long Form media experience a plus
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, goal/results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
  • Team Player and ability to lead a team. Positive attitude and enthusiasm for Client Service.
