IT Support Specialist
Spartan is looking for an IT professional to join our team in our Houston office.
Qualifications
College degree related to Computer Systems/IT or 3+ years of experience in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Technically savvy with excellent written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of Networking concepts, IT Infrastructure, and computer systems
Self-motivated with strong analytical, diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce or similar qualifying certifications
Responsibilities
Prioritize daily tasks, day to day operations and ensure deadlines are met
Aid in network administration and lead coordination with third-party providers to address network, application, and connectivity problems.
Offer initial user support for tech issues, send tougher problems to the right IT team, and stay connected for quick solutions and ongoing updates
Install, configure, monitor and maintain software and hardware systems
Help improve and build IT systems, including enhancing processes to ensure reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing systems
Maintain confidentiality and security of company documents and all users/stakeholders
Identify, resolve project issues and create project status reports
Keep records of issues and their solutions, document policies and procedures, and record new system implementations.
Setup, maintain and provide support for company devices including company-issued cell phones, iPads, Laptops etc.
Offer urgent assistance when necessary, after hours and on weekends
Evaluate possible risks and technical difficulties, then create suitable plans to address them
Create a strategy for technology upgrades and migrations, and oversee the project at every stage
Perform additional tasks as required by the manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
