Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time in-clinic or hybrid position for a Mental Health Clinician or Associate Clinician. The Mental Health Clinician will provide behavioral health services to individuals/families, with the option to also provide services to couples, through a variety of evidence-based therapeutic practices. Responsibilities include completing assessments, developing treatment plans, providing psychotherapy, maintaining accurate documentation in an electronic medical record system, and coordinating care with community partners when appropriate


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field from an accredited university
  • Maintain an active license with no restrictions, in the state of Washington: LICSW/LSWAIC, LMFT/LMFTA, LMHC/LMHCA, or equivalent
  • Compassionate, caring and committed to social justice
  • Experience using evidence-based practices/therapeutic models: CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc
  • Utilize motivational interviewing, behavior activation, and mindfulness techniques
  • Ability to provide behavioral health assessments, diagnose, develop and implement treatment plans
  • Establish goals and milestones with clients
  • Familiarity with electronic health records system for documentation is desirable
  • At least 1 year experience in a clinical setting and/or acute medical or mental healthcare setting, either inpatient or outpatient
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish or other languages would be great, though not required
  • Want to be a part of a positive work environment
