Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Construction Estimator at RICH MOE ENTERPRISES, LLC in Upper Marlboro, MD. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for construction estimating, quantity take-offs, site visits, communication, building and maintaining client relationships and budgeting on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience successfully estimating commercial projects ranging from $1000.00 to $10 million dollars.


We want to hire the best and the brightest people who will consistently "raise the bar" and bring new ideas to the table. Must be knowledgeable in all the following: civil/site construction, foundation and structural systems, interior & exterior building wall systems. Possess good organizational and management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.


Qualifications

  • Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skills
  • Presenting prepared estimates to management
  • 6-8 years of experience estimating for a general contractor on projects ranging from $1,000 - $10 Million
  • Using bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis
  • Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
  • Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding to the project
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in budgeting and project cost analysis
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
